RUTILANT (3) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 6f at Mildura. Cherry-ripe now and is worth following up. JASKIER (4) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing ninth over 6¾f at Griffith. Rates highly on best figures. SMART ELISSIM (10) fought on for third last start over 6f at Mildura, making it three minor placings in a row. Will drift back but wind up late. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. IRRESISTIBLE SIR (2) ran a better race last start, finishing 2.5 lengths away in fifth over 6½f at Coleraine. Well placed to turn things around.
