SET TO SHINE (8) raced on the speed and lifted to score by a nose at this track and trip last start in a far better run. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. FRENCH ENDEAVOUR (6) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when seventh, beaten 3 lengths, over 7f in the G2 Guy Walter Stakes at Randwick. Has a solid record at the third run in and is sure to be about the mark. WARBY (5) was ridden quietly then made a little ground and finished one length away in fourth last time out over 6f at this track when when resuming from a lay-off. Tackles a longer journey this time. Change of jockey to Ryan Maloney who has a strong record when aboard, including three wins. One of the main contenders. NAVAL TRADER (7) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6¾f at Doomben when he did his best work late, beaten a head. Placed to advantage so expect a big run.
