WAKU WAKU (12) impressed when successful on debut over 6f at Sunshine Coast two weeks ago. Promising type who can go back-to-back. PRO FORMA (7) finished 1.4 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 6¾f at Doomben, an improvement on his sixth at this track the run before. Meets a stronger field but he is capable of running a bold race. OUR BENEFACTOR (1) returns from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Closed off last prep in great form including a dominant win over 7½f at this track at his most recent appearance. Martin Harley who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Certainly one to consider. ROCK THE SUNRISE (11) got off the mark over 7f at Grafton last start, scoring by 2.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders.
