AUTUMNGIRL (14) broke through for her maiden win over 5½f at Ipswich last time, scoring comfortably. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and she is a leading contender. POUTCHEK (7) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on 3/08/2024, finishing 11th and beaten 11 lengths over 1m1/4f at Doomben. One of the genuine hopes in the race. WINSOME STAR (1) has registered three minor placings from four runs this campaign. Produced another good effort last start when second over 6f at Sunshine Coast after he was well back on straightening. Must be included on the strength of that form. PEACEFUL PRINCE (6) ran well despite being friendless in betting last time over 7f at Sunshine Coast, finishing second and beaten one length at 20/1. Gets back but will wind up late. Sure to be competitive.
