LA PETITE MAISON (3) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing second over 5½f at Ipswich when he was in the firing line all the way. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. VELOZES (10) is back from a lay-off of six months. Closed last prep with a fifth, beaten 3 lengths, over 6½f at this track. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Will prove tough to stop. RUNWITHTHETIDE (1) drew wide last time and was safely held when seventh over this track and trip after meeting with market support. Likely to go forward from a nice draw. Capable of testing this field. ADORADEC (12) worked home well and finished second last time over 6¾f at Doomben, beaten a long neck. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish.
