SIMPLY REFUSE (5) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on two consecutive occasions, before finishing fifth last time out over 1m4f at this track. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will be tough to stop. THE IRISH (4) boxed on fairly last time over 1m1f at this track, finishing fourth and not too far from the winner. Likely to relish the extra ground and can find best form this time. IMPUNITY (7) was prominent at the bend and finished second last time over 1m3 1/4f at Newcastle, beaten 4 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Suitably placed so anticipating another strong effort.
