APUNTAR (1) was sent out at 16/1 last time but ran above expectations and won over 7f at this track. Strong chance again. PROMINENT LAD (2) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 7f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. CHAMIERRO (3) was only a long neck from the winner in second last time out in a small field over 7f at Sunshine Coast on a soft ground. Is going well this campaign, recording a win and a minor placing from three starts. Should be involved in the finish. OUR BENEFACTOR (4) got off the mark over 6¾f at Ipswich last start, scoring by 1.75 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Re-unites with Martin Harley who was on board last start. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade.
