LARRIKIN ROGUE (10) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fourth over 6¾f at Doomben 11 months ago. Capable of playing a major role. TROIKA (9) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Gold Coast over 5f after being prominent from the outset. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. RELEASE THE BEANS (3) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when seventh in a 6¾f contest at Doomben two-and-a-half weeks ago. Faces an easier assignment so he will be hard to beat. BEAUTANTES (6) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with success as favourite over 5½f at Doomben two weeks ago, getting home by a head. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
