BAK DA MAN (2) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by a nose over 1m3f at Gold Coast. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins from four runs. Leading player again. TORQUE LEICA STAR (11) recorded a strong on-pace win here last time by 1.2 lengths over 1m2 3/4f. In great form and is well-placed to feature again. SIR LEONIDAS (12) turned things around last start and scored by 2.25 lengths after being prominent at the corner over 1m2 1f at Ipswich. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to cope. BEDFORD SQUARE (6) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 6 lengths away in fifth over 1m3f at Doomben. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
