Race Tip

PAYLINE (7) lines up for the first time since January 20. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. MERCIAN (5) raced handy on debut last start and gave a good sight, holding on for second and beaten a nose over 5½f at Doomben. Open to improvement and looks a serious contender. ITZA MOTZA (14) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Stuart Kendrick yard. Resumes after finishing fourth at Cranbourne at his last run four-and-a-half months ago. Fitter for placing in a Sunshine Coast Inner Track trial and is in a nice race. Bold showing expected. MOONFLEET (10) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing a head from the winner in second over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Open to plenty of improvement.
