Has the early speed to cross from out wide. Expected to be in the finish. Group 3 placegetter DARK WINTER (7) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on July 28 finishing seventh and beaten 13 lengths over 6f in the G2 The Debutante at Greyville. Looks a winning chance. SHE'S MY CAPTAIN (2) got home by a nose last time out over 5f at this track. Has a fair record at this track with a win and five placings. Richard Fourie is back on and has a solid record on the six-year-old, including five wins. Has claims on her best figures. OMIKAMI (4) is back from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Won on debut at the only appearance last prep, collecting a 6f contest at Kenilworth by 2.25 lengths. Worth plenty of thought.
