SPORTS PAGE (9) improved sharply on her fourth two starts back at this track with a win over 6½f at this track a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 4.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Likely to be there at the finish again. SHEN GUI (3) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at this track. Not as effective last time out when 13th over 7¼f at Muswellbrook, beaten 26 lengths. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. D'ARPANO (11) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when ninth over 5½f at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. ALLAY (6) did a great job to score by 0.8 lengths over this course and distance last start in a far better run. Finds another suitable race and can do it again.
