CHOICE WITNESS (6) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish a long neck back in second over 5f at Gilgandra. Meets some better types this time but a big run will not surprise. PAINITE (3) was prominent into the straight last time but couldn't go on with it and finished tenth over 5f at Orange. This looks a nice race so expect her to be right in the finish. TAKEN FOR GRANTED (5) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 5f at Taree after being prominent from the outset. Awkwardly drawn and might need a little luck early. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. CAMP COVE (1) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on October 8 finishing ninth and beaten 4 lengths over 6½f at Coonamble. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
