DEVINE CHOPS (6) broke through for his maiden win over 5f at Orange last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Nicely drawn and he is a leading contender. MY ODDETTE (2) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 4 lengths into eighth over 5f at Orange. Strips fitter and can find the winner's circle. APOLLO STAR (3) has put together back-to-back placings after scoring three back at this track, most recently beaten 1.5 lengths into third after he was well back on straightening over 5f at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. SIMPLY BETTER (9) is going better than form suggests, last time finishing a 3 length fifth over 5f at Orange. Drawn for a good run and shoudn't be far away.
