BETTCHA THE CROWN (9) raced on the speed when resuming last start over this course and distance and stuck on well to finish second, beaten a head. Nicely placed to play a major role. BLAKMAX (4) held on well to finish second last time out over 7f at Eagle Farm after leading for much of the way. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish again. KADALL (12) was close to breaking through last start when beaten a nose into second over 6¾f at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. SHA OF GOMER (5) registered a strong win two runs ago then turned in a decent effort last time out when third over 7f at Eagle Farm, beaten 0.8 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
