ROLLER COASTER (4) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when seventh, beaten 6 lengths, over 1m1f at Eagle Farm. Nicely placed to take this out. ALDEENAARY (8) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 5 lengths into ninth over 7½f at Eagle Farm. It doesn't get any easier but with added fitness he is one of the chief contenders. MAJORIAN (7) is a distance specialist who progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.9 lengths from the winner in third over 1m2 1/4f at this track. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. PEPPERDINE (6) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 12 lengths away in ninth over 1m at Toowoomba. Well placed to make amends.
