WASTED YOUTH (14) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and kept going to win by 1.2 lengths over 6f at Eagle Farm. Will prove very tough to beat. ELLIBABY (6) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at this track, beaten only a nose. Likely improver with strong prospects. BETTER BE NORDY (1) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 8 lengths away in 11th over 6½f at Toowoomba. Finds the right race this time and can find winning form. SKYWRITER (10) turned in a reasonable run when returning from a break last start over 6f at this track, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in eighth. Loves racing here and has managed two wins from four visits. Not to be discounted.
