GOOD LIEUTENANT (2) went forward last start over 7f152yards at Gold Coast Poly and held on well for third, beaten 2.25 lengths. Will take advantage of the good draw. Steps up a level but he is good enough to figure in the finish. REDFORD (12) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fourth, beaten 2 lengths, over 7f at Eagle Farm. Should prove tough to hold out. FEATHERTOP (9) is progressing well this campaign, landing the prize by a long neck last time out over 1m1/4f at this track. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
