ORIENT'S SECRET (17) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Ipswich but disappointed last time when 12th, beaten 5 lengths, at Randwick over 6f. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is sure to be prominent. LADY WARDELL (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.75 lengths when ninth in a 6f contest at Ipswich four weeks ago after being prominent at the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. ORTHIE'S GIRLS (9) scored last start at Toowoomba to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Facing a tougher assignment but should be competitive. MR ENCORE (20) ran a better race last start, finishing 3 lengths away in fourth over 5½f at Toowoomba. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
