Stiffer assignment here but he is expected to run well. Group 1 placegetter DETONATOR JACK (4) is going well and is knocking on the door, last time out finishing second over 1m in the G3 Hawkesbury Gold Cup and only a nose from the winner. Is capable of featuring. NUMERIAN (1) multiple Group 2 winner. Was an impressive when resuming winner last time out in an easier race over 1m1f in the G2 AD Hollindale Stakes at Sunshine Coast, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Will be better for that latest run and is expected to run well again. HUETOR (2) doomben Cup winner. Was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fifth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1m1f in the G2 AD Hollindale Stakes at Sunshine Coast. Should prove tough to hold out.
