QUBELLA (10) did well to score at Echuca two runs ago. Decent effort last time out when third over 6½f at Wangaratta, beaten half a length. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. HE'S GODSPEED (1) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when ninth over 7f at Ballarat Synthetic, beaten 56 lengths. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. KING AND KING (6) is on the quick back up after sitting on the pace and boxing on well to finish second at Mildura seven days ago. Has a wide gate to overcome but is a leading contender. PONTMEIRION (4) finished 12th two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 7½f at Ballarat Synthetic, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Placed to advantage so anticipating another big run.
