RED SPHERE (5) is a handy type who resumes after a break of eight months. At his last appearance he finished sixth over 6f at Hobart, beaten 6 lengths. Looks to be back in good order following a recent trial placing. Has won when fresh from a lay-off in the past. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will give a great sight. FEAR THE STING (6) showed good pace over 5f at this track last time and dug deep to score by 3 lengths. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. PHILOSOPHERS STONE (1) was far from disgraced when second last start over 5¾f at this track. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Worth another chance.
