PRIVATE STORM (1) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off as favourite last start over 5f at this track. Will take a lot from that hitout. Nicely placed to play a major role. STEEL RAIDER (6) hit the frame two starts ago at Hobart but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 3 lengths over 6¾f at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SUPER CUTTER (7) was prominent into the straight last time but was overwhelmed late and wound up in seventh over 5½f at Hobart. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. GEE GEE SALTBUSH (3) could only manage to finish fourth, beaten 6 lengths, at her latest appearance over 5f at this track. Well placed on this occasion and is a likely improver.
