Well placed and sure to go well again. CHICANE (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a head from the winner in third over 6¾f at this track after being in contention on the bend. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. RODRICK'S SECRET (8) started at 9/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 3.5 lengths at this track over 6¾f. Hard to beat in this suitable race. EXALTED CROWN (2) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fourth over 6¾f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Worth another chance.
