PHILOSOPHERS STONE (2) was a determined winner in a then raced on the speed last time before finishing tenth over 5f130yards at Launceston. Will find this easier than last start. Well placed and sure to run well. BOLD INSTINCT (3) was having his first run for the Dean Wells team last start when he made steady ground to run into third over 5f at this track. Expected to run well again. GEE GEE ENUF SPEED (1) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start when she made late ground but found a couple better over 5f130yards at Launceston, beaten only one length. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. CORNELIAN BAY (4) returns after a lay-off of ten weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5¾f at this track. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
