Likely improver with strong prospects. CHAMPAGNE CINDERS (7) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish fifth, beaten 1.1 lengths, last start over 5¾f at this track. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. ALPINE AVIATOR (6) finished second last start over 5¾f at this track when he did his best work late, beaten a nose. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BARMAID GIRL (8) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 5¾f at this track, beaten 5 lengths into 11th. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
