DOWNPATRICK (11) is building towards a maiden win after minor placings at his last two runs, the latest when second over 5½f at this track (Dirt), beaten 5 lengths. Going well enough to test this field. SUNSHINE JOHNNY (10) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 3 lengths, over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Will be tough to hold out again. LONG ASTRIDE (2) got well back over 1m at this track (Dirt) last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 10 lengths away in fourth. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a major role. FOE (9) returned from a lay-off two months ago when he was beaten 24 lengths into eighth over 6f at this track. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
