THE PENINSULA (9) is struggling to find the winners' circle but has been around the mark, last start finishing third over 1m1/2f at this track (Turf). Has a win and five minor placings at this trip from nine starts so a well-deserved win is on the cards. SAGRADA RAY (6) finished fifth last start over 1m1/2f at Laurel (Turf) after racing on the pace for much of the way. Sure to be prominent from the outset. MAJESTIC EAGLE (5) grade 3 winner. Finished second two runs back at Monmouth Park (Turf) then improved last time out to score by a nose over 1m at Laurel (Turf). Has the class to take care of this field. HARDY CHOICE (11) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 5.5 lengths back in fourth over 1m1/4f at Penn National (Turf). Cannot be underestimated.
