PORTA FORTUNA (7) got the job done when resuming last start in the G1 Matron Stakes at Leopardstown over this distance after she was in the firing line on the bend. Is yet to miss the frame from five starts at this distance, including three wins. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Sure to be in the finish. NOTABLE SPEECH (6) finished fifth last start, beaten 6 lengths, over 1m at Longchamp. Form over this journey is strong, boasting two wins from four starts. William Buick who has scored on him five times retains the mount. Should be in the finish. JOHANNES (9) was successful last start over 1m in the G2 City of Hope Mile Stakes at Santa Anita (Turf), getting home by 1.3 lengths to make it four wins on the bounce. Finds a tougher race but another big run will not surprise. RAMATUELLE (1) scored an impressive win by 3 lengths when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 7f in the G1 Prix De La Foret at Longchamp. Open to plenty of improvement and is among the better chances.
