FORGIVING SPIRIT (6) returns from a layoff of 11 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at Santa Anita. Sure to make his presence felt. SEISMIC SPIRIT (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when ninth over 6½f at Santa Anita eight weeks ago after being in the firing line on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. Group 2 winner WHATMAKESSAMMYRUN (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into ninth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
