LOVESICK BLUES (6) Placed in a Group 3. Finished runner-up on turf over 6f at Santa Anita in a then filled another minor placing last start on dirt over 1m at Los Alamitos. Has a good association with Kyle Frey with a run of four top-three results. Sure to play a big role. MUBTADAA (7) finished seventh when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m at Los Alamitos, beaten only 1.3 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. JOHNNY PODRES (2) lines up for the first time since May 26. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 6½f at Santa Anita. Among the better hopes. ZOFFARELLI (4) grade 3 winner. Showed good speed and fought on for second over 6f at Santa Anita (Turf) last time. Is in solid form this time in work, scoring two times and placing on five occasions from 10 starts. Don't underestimate.
