DILUTION (1) ran well below his best last time over 5½f at Holbrook, beaten 3 lengths into seventh at 4/1. Has a high cruising speed. Sure to be in the finish. MONAGHAN'S BOY (9) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish tenth, beaten 7 lengths, last start over 6½f at Wagga. Expected to be in this for a long way. ROCKBARTON SHOUT (3) is on a quick turnaround after a solid second over 5½f at Holbrook seven days ago. Good effort last start and must go in the numbers. ALBANIAN STAR (8) is fresh from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Sale over 5f. In a different yard now. Ran eighth in a trial at Pakenham over 5f recently.
