HOTIM ENGLISH (2) returned last time with a solid second at this track over 6f after being in contention on the bend. Likely improver with winning claims. THREE JACKS (4) hasn't raced since finishing eighth over 5½f at Wangaratta on May 16 and has since switched yards. Goes well when resuming from a lay-off, including two minor placings from three starts. Shapes as one to consider. MONTCELOT (3) settled well back last start and never threatened when 6 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6f at this track. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. DANCER FOR MONEY (5) returned from a lay-off seven-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 9 lengths into ninth over 5f at Terang. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish.
