PHAROAH MAGIC (1) finished third when resuming two runs back at this track then progressed nicely last time out to score by 3.5 lengths over 6½f at this track. Likely to be in the finish again. ZOUMIST (6) improved last time out, finishing one length from the winner in second at the end of 6½f at this track. Has the talent to take this out. BOY BIG (5) bounced back last start and got the job done by 1.5 lengths as public elect over 5½f at Alice Springs. Looks well placed so expect another big run. POMPEII EMPIRE (2) fought on for second last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
