RISING SPHERE (3) resumed over 5½f at this track last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Can make it back-to-back wins. STAR MAGNUM (4) was always forward and boxed on to finish second over 6f at this track last time. Yet to break through here at this distance but has never missed the placings in three starts. Has a high cruising speed. Will give a great sight. LUMBER PUNK (1) resumes from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months and is having his first outing under new trainer Gary Clarke. Finished seventh at Moonee Valley over 6f at the opening run last time in work. Can measure up at the first run for a new barn. CANTON KID (10) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on February 9 finishing fourth and beaten 10 lengths over 5½f at this track. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Deserves respect on best figures.
