PHAROAH MAGIC (2) is a promising type who scored at his only run last prep three-and-a-half months ago over 5½f at this track. Has two wins to his name when fresh from a lay-off. Has a high cruising speed. Will prove tough to beat. CONCLAVE PRINCE (1) lines up for the first time since April 7. Looking to emulate his win at Bendigo at the beginning of last prep. Has never tasted defeat when fresh from a lay-off in two attempts. Now under the care of new trainer Philip Cole. Rates highly and should take some beating. FISCHER (13) finished sixth over 1m at Alice Springs at his most recent appearance on April 7. Can make his presence felt. SCUDETTO (7) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 5½f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out.
