INATICK (8) showed good early speed from the inside draw when fresh from a lay-off last time out, leading for home before finding one better over 5½f at Warwick. Well-placed and will take catching. RUSSIAN MINT (6) improved last start to finish second over 5½f at Beaudesert after being prominent at the corner. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. MEDALS (1) disappointed at his last run four months ago when seventh at Toowoomba, that effort following back-to-back wins. Did launch his last prep with a win over 4f76yards at Toowoomba. Sure to be competitive. FLANK SPEED (2) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last time over 5f at Taroom, beaten 1.5 lengths. Finds a tougher race but a big run is on the cards.
