BLUESTOCKING (1) returned after the winter break with an impressive 6L success in the G2 Middleton Stakes at York. Appears to have improved as a four-year-old and could be difficult to beat. STAY ALERT (5) surprised scoring by 3.5L the G2 Dahlia Stakes at Newmarket on seasonal reappearance. Second placed horse has since scored at Royal Ascot boosting form. Contender. EMILY UPJOHN (2) might not be the force of old. Soundly beaten delivering first two career outings and returns to female only company. Improvement possible. CONTENT (7) rates a place chance with a three-year-old allowance. Not entirely dismissed backing up quickly from a disappointing run at Royal Ascot. Juvenile form would put her in the mix.
