MANTUA (5) wasn't far away last time and is edging towards a win, the latest effort a solid second over 5½f at Caulfield Heath. Will find this easier. Best form puts him right in this. WOLFLANDS (1) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 2.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 5¼f at Morphettville. Has the class to find the winners' list. ALONG THE RIVER (3) was in the money two starts back at Caulfield Heath but couldn't back it up last time when seventh, beaten 4 lengths, at Moonee Valley over 6f. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he will be hard to beat. MANHATTAN THUNDER (7) was below his best last time when ninth over 5f at Pakenham, beaten 5.5 lengths. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
