LOVIN' LAUGHS (2) wasn't disgraced in city class last time when finishing sixth at Moonee Valley. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Will be hard to stop. THINK WINNING (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 7½f at Mornington, beaten 3.5 lengths into eighth. Yet to miss the placings from four starts at this track. Tom Prebble gets the best out of this eight-year-old gelding. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be taken lightly. LOCHLORIAN (9) scored an overdue maiden win last time out, getting home by 0.8 lengths over 6½f at Bendigo. Winning rider Teodore Nugent sticks and he is one of the main chances. FREDERICK (10) finished fourth over 6f at Moe when resuming last start, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
