JAYKAYANN (2) returned from a lay-off nine days ago when she was beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth over 1m at Sandown-Hillside. Billy Egan is a key engagement. Must raise the bar but a better run is on the cards. AMLETO (6) ran a strong race when resuming at Yarra Valley then went to town last time and could only manage ninth over 1m at Flemington. Fitter and deserves another chance. PRISMATIC (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when fifth in a 1m4f contest at Sandown-Hillside two-and-a-half weeks ago. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to take this out. RIVERINA CYCLONE (9) has not won for a long while. Last raced on May 8 when beaten 4 lengths into seventh at Sandown-Hillside over 7½f. Facing a tougher assignment but she is up to the task.
