KNIGHTJAR (1) built on a nice third two starts back at Wodonga with a win over 1m2f at Albury nine days ago, getting home by 1.2 lengths. Nicely placed to go back-to-back. IMPOSING TALLULAH (4) turned in a modest performance when tenth last time out over 1m2 1/4f at Wodonga, beaten 17 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. That followed a win at Wagga Riverside at the previous outing. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. EMPEROR OF FRANCE (8) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth over 7f at Wodonga. This looks a sterner test than last time but with added fitness he is right in contention. ZONTAWAH (5) drifted back and never threatened when sixth last start over 1m2f at Albury. Nicely placed to bounce back.
