GALLANT STAR (1) is back at the races for the first time since November 5. Scored over 5½f at Dubbo at the start of last prep. Boasts a when resuming record of two wins and two placings from four starts. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. POISEN POINT (13) stuck on well last start to finish second over 1m at Orange after showing good early speed. Must raise the bar but she has the ability to test this field. ROUGE MOULIN (10) came from well back on the turn to score last time out over 6½f at Dubbo. Key runner who can get home hard into the finish. STOCKHOLM (2) had support when resuming last time out but never threatened when a disappointing fifth, beaten 6 lengths, over 6½f at Bathurst. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Must be respected.
