MEAT PIE ARTIE (1) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Noel Mayfield-Smith stable. Hasn't raced since finishing eighth at Sunshine Coast ten weeks ago. Ran fifth in a trial at Grafton over 5f and looks well placed. Can return in winning form. STRATUM CHIEF (9) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 9 lengths when eighth in a 7f32yards contest at Grafton a week-and-a-half ago. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. MISSION TO WIN (3) was safely held when tenth last time out over 7¾f at Murwillumbah, beaten 12 lengths. That followed a win at Warwick at the previous outing. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. SHINTARO LASS (7) was beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth over 6f at Casino a week ago. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
