HAYAI MESU (5) started at 4/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing 11th and beaten 6 lengths at Morphettville Parks over 6½f. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. REDWINELOVER (8) has scored at her last two starts, most recently by a neck over 6f at Kingscote. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins from four starts. Big chance once again. LUCKY FORTUNA (3) did little and finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in ninth over 6f at Morphettville last start after being prominent at the turn, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Naracoorte the run before. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. EFFORTKAT (2) didn't do a bad job when fourth last start over 6¼f at Port Lincoln. That followed a win at Port Lincoln the start prior. One of the main hopes.
