JUBILANT JOANIE (6) turned in a modest performance when second last time out over 1m at Santa Anita, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. That followed a win at Del Mar at the previous outing. Meets a stronger field but she is worth serious consideration. AMBITIOUSLY PLACED (1) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 2 lengths at Parx (Dirt) over 7f. Good record at this journey with four wins and eight minor placings from 16 starts and looks a top chance. GOODBETTERBEST (3) displayed plenty of early toe and went on to score by 0.8 lengths when resuming last time out over 1m1/4f at Gulfstream Park (Synthetic). Will take advantage of the good draw. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is right in contention. MAZOKU (9) finished third two runs back at this track (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by half a length over 6½f at Keeneland (Dirt). Well placed and there is no reason she cannot score again.
