CLOSETHEGAME SUGAR (6) returned to winning form second up last start, scoring by one length over 6f in Listed grade at this track (Dirt). Strips fitter so he looks very hard to beat. HOIST THE GOLD (5) multiple Group 2 winner. Raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished third, beaten 6 lengths, over 1m in the G1 Metropolitan Handicap at Saratoga (Dirt). The engagement of Luis Saez is noteworthy. This is the right race and can get the job done. Group 1 placegetter TEJANO TWIST (4) finished 2 lengths away from the winner in third last start at Listed level at this track (Dirt) over 6f Has a very good record over this journey with two wins from three starts. Will find this much easier. Sure to be competitive. Group 2 winner ANARCHIST (1) comes here off a break of ten months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6½f at Santa Anita. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Sure to make his presence felt.
