CAPTIVATING BOY (7) started at 11/4 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths at Presque Isle Downs (Synthetic) over 6f after being prominent at the corner. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves another chance. G T FIVE HUNDRED (5) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at this track (Dirt) with success as favourite over 6f at this track (Dirt) two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. GUNNER BAY (3) was beaten 4 lengths into fifth over 6½f at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
