SMOKEY SMOKEY (5) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by 0.3 lengths over 6f in stakes class at Aqueduct (Turf). Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. BEAR RIVER (3) finished sixth two runs back in Listed grade at this track (Turf) then improved last time out to score by 0.8 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend over 5½f at this track (Dirt). No reason he cannot salute again. HOLD MY BOURBON (2) got off the mark over 5½f at this track (Dirt) last start, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Luan Machado was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade. OKIRO (6) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 5f at Gulfstream Park, clocking in 2.25 lengths from the winner. One of the genuine contenders.
