PELICAN LANE (4) is back after a break of ten months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at her latest appearance over 1m1/2f at Ellis Park (Turf). Opened last prep with a minor placing at this track over 5½f. Looks the one to beat. VINO VERITAS (2) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 6 lengths into third over 6f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt). Should park just off the speed. Will give a great sight. GRAYTON (6) ran a fair race on debut last time out, beaten 8 lengths into fourth over 7f at Keeneland (Dirt) on April 18. Among the better hopes. MIDWAY VOW (5) was safely held on debut last start, finishing 6 lengths behind the winner in fifth over 6f at Turfway Park (Synthetic). Will take a lot from that experience. Not to be discounted.
